Counselling therapy and me

Hello, my name is Louise and I am a qualified counsellor based in the Walsall, Willenhall and Sutton Coldfield areas of the West Midlands. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) so I adhere to their guidance and code of ethics. I’m a skilled therapist and will work with you in a safe space where you can talk about your emotions, thoughts and feelings. Above all I won’t judge or criticise you and through talking therapy we will work through the difficulties you are facing.

Through counselling therapy I help adults and older teenagers with a range of issues from anxiety to panic disorder, depression to phobias. After an initial discussion we will begin talking about your emotions and identifying the issues you are struggling with. Then we will work together on finding a solution, moving forward at your pace in sessions suitable to you. Please see below a list of therapies and counselling I offer. You can also get in touch via the Contact Me page for more information or to tell me more about your own needs and expectations from therapy.

  • anger management and behaviour problems
  • career and work-related stress

In addition to running my private practice I trained with an organisation specialising in bereavement, grief and loss. I also volunteered for a local charitable counselling service offering talking therapy. I have worked with families for many years in the Walsall, WS1 and surrounding areas, helping people cope better with issues like anti-social behaviour, mental ill-health and domestic abuse. In short, I feel my background has shaped my life and helped me to become a better counsellor. Maybe I can help you too.
